Sylvie Lemarchand, a passionate artisan
Trained in the decorative arts and driven by a passion for light and textiles, Sylvie founded her workshop in Cormeilles, in the heart of Normandy, over 15 years ago. Her journey, rich in encounters and learning, has led her to master the delicate art of lampshade making.
After in-depth training in the decorative arts, she specialised in bespoke lampshade making, the restoration of antique pieces and soft furnishings. Each creation is the fruit of meticulous craftsmanship, where the choice of fabric, the precision of the cut and the finesse of the stitching come together to bring unique pieces to life.
Her workshop, housed in a traditional Norman building, is a creative space where tradition meets modernity. Sylvie welcomes her clients there to imagine together the perfect lampshade — one that will enhance their interior with warm, personalised light.
“Every lampshade tells a story. My role is to give shape to the light you imagine.”
